Duck stuffed with Red Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 duck, weighing about 4½ lbs
- 5 cloves,
- 2 bay leaves,
- 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar,
- 7 prunes, soaked for a couple of hours in 3 Tbsp brandy
- 2 Tbsp sugar,
German red cabbage cooked and then stuffed into a duck.
